Reflecting on 2024: A Year of Impact

2024 was an incredible year for Haatch! Here’s a quick look at the highlights:

• Remarkable Metrics – We launched our first annual investor survey, and the feedback has been invaluable. With stellar NPS and CSAT ratings, we’re grateful for investors’ trust. 
• Team Growth – Our team grew to 19, and we invested significantly in fundraising and investor relations to deliver a market-leading experience.
• Portfolio Highlights – We’ve reached 108 portfolio companies with over 1,400 investors. Three personal highlights include: Native – reaching £10m ARR, Volume –  $6m raised, Popp – grew at 33x ARR growth. All these companies were backed at pre-seed and pre-revenue!
• British Business Investments – Our partnership with British Business Investments continued strong, ensuring co-investment benefits for all.

Looking Ahead to 2025: A Year of Opportunity

2025 is set to be our biggest year yet. Some key themes are:

• Liquidity – The entire team is focused on delivering exits this year. We have to remind ourselves that our portfolio is still young, with 90% of pre-seed companies having been invested for less than 3 years and the majority of our seed stage businesses being under 4 years. 
• Advisors – In early February, we will welcome a new face to lead our advisor relationships as we officially launch Haatch in the advisor market. If you’re an IFA, get in touch!
• Institutional Capital – More to say about this soon, but a continued focus on our institutional funds is a key priority to directly support our SEIS and EIS funds and provide longer-term capital to support these companies through their growth phases.
• EIS Focus – We’re tripling down and plan to raise more EIS money than ver before, the investment market at Seed is hot, and now is the time to capitalise.
