We’re thrilled to share that Haatch has been named Best SEIS Investment Manager at the 2025 Enterprise Investment Scheme Association (EISA) Awards!

This win is a proud moment for our team and a powerful validation of our mission to back bold founders at the very start of their journey. From day one, we’ve focused on investing at pre-seed and seed stage in B2B SaaS companies shaping the future of enterprise and supporting those founders with hands-on, strategic support every step of the way. This award reflects the results of that model in action.

We were also recognised as “One to Watch” for Best EIS Investment Manager, a clear sign that our EIS strategy is building serious momentum and making a mark across the ecosystem.

And that momentum? It’s real.

Earlier this year, we were named Best Fund Manager at the SeedLegals Startup Awards – and now we’re proud to be finalists in three categories at the upcoming UKBAA Awards this July:

  • Seed VC of the Year
  • Most Active Investor in the Regions
  • Exit of the Year

A Year of Real Progress

2025 has already been a landmark year for Haatch:

  • Three portfolio exits across SEIS and EIS, including a fund returner
  • Record inflows into our SEIS and EIS funds
  • Two award wins and counting

Our approach is built on conviction, speed, structure, and support. We back founders early, believe deeply in their potential, and work side-by-side with them to unlock it. Everything we do is focused on creating real value, for our portfolio, our investors, and the wider startup ecosystem.

Thank You

We’re incredibly grateful to EISA, SeedLegals, UKBAA and most importantly, to the founders, investors, and advisers who continue to back us on this journey.

The recognition means a lot. But the real reward is building companies of lasting value and doing it with a team and community we believe in.

Watch this space. The best is still to come.

Why do we invest? The glib answer is ‘to make money’. For most investors however, I suspect the reasons are much more nuanced.

When I first committed funds to a Haatch portfolio company, the reasons for doing so were multiple. Of course, I was looking forward to value amplification and the tax basis was also highly attractive. However, I also had a strong sense of wanting to ‘plug in’ to a modern, cutting-edge area of technology.
