Haatch, the award-winning B2B SaaS pre-seed and seed investor, is delighted to announce the appointment of three new Operating Partners to help further accelerate the growth of their tax-efficient and institutional funds and its strategic investments.

Jim Hawker, Matt Smith and James Brooke all join with immediate effect and will work closely with Haatch Co-Founders Scott Weavers Wright and Fred Soneya, existing partners Simon Penson and Mark Bennett and the rest of the Haatch team to provide senior support to the growing portfolio of B2B SaaS companies.

Scott Weavers Wright, Co-Founder & Partner, Haatch: “This is an exciting moment in the development of Haatch as we bring this industry talent into our business. The trio of successful entrepreneurs each brings a different perspective which will add a huge amount of value, not just to our investments but to the Haatch business itself.”

Fred Soneya, Co-Founder & Partner, Haatch: "This team will play an essential role in helping our founders build world-beating businesses. These operating partners are at the heart of our ‘more than money’ ethos and ensure that our founders are receiving practical skills and advice from people who’ve been there and done it.”

You've seen the headlines. $300 billion wiped from software stocks in a single session. Salesforce down 27% year-to-date. Atlassian off 35% in a week. The SaaSpocalypse has dominated every feed for the past six weeks. Like most narratives that move this fast, it's partly right, partly overblown, and mostly missing the point.
